Missing Subresource Integrity (SRI): How to Solve It
Missing Subresource Integrity means script or link tags loading resources from third-party CDNs don't include an integrity attribute with a cryptographic hash of the expected file content. Without SRI, the browser has no way to verify that the fetched file matches what the developer intended to load, so if the CDN is compromised or the file is altered in transit, the browser will execute it anyway. This is a supply-chain security gap: any tampering with a hotlinked third-party script becomes a direct code-execution vector on the site.
