Question 1

What's the setup timeline?

Accepted Answer

Setup starts with automated renewal tracking, which we complete within 30 days. From there the rest of the project follows the process laid out above.

Question 2

What kind of SSL certificates do you use?

Accepted Answer

Free Let's Encrypt certificates with automated 90-day renewal for standard sites, or commercial Extended Validation and Organization Validation certificates when brand validation is needed.

Question 3

How far in advance will we know about a renewal?

Accepted Answer

Domain renewals are flagged 90, 60, and 30 days out. SSL certificates get 30-day advance renewal warnings.

Question 4

Do you handle domains across different registrars?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we track expiration dates and manage DNS regardless of which registrar currently holds each domain.

Question 5

How do you price this?

Accepted Answer

Pricing is tiered rather than quoted from scratch, all three packages -- Grow, Scale, and Accelerate -- start at $1,280, with the difference being scope of coverage rather than price.

Question 6

What happens if a domain does lapse before you catch it?

Accepted Answer

Domain locking and the 90/60/30-day escalation schedule are built specifically to prevent this, but if a domain we manage does lapse, recovering it becomes our priority, not something you have to chase down yourself.

Question 7

Do you manage domains we already own, or only new registrations?

Accepted Answer

Both. Setup starts by inventorying every domain and certificate you already have, regardless of which registrar or host currently manages them.

Question 8

Can you move our domains to a single registrar?

Accepted Answer

Yes, registrar consolidation is available on the Accelerate package for businesses that want one place to manage renewals instead of tracking several logins.

Question 9

What is domain locking and why does it matter?

Accepted Answer

Domain locking prevents an unauthorized transfer request from moving your domain to another registrar without your approval, closing a common attack vector for domain theft.

Question 10

Do you handle email authentication setup too?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration is included from Scale up, so your email stays authenticated and deliverable instead of landing in spam.

Question 11

What is OCSP stapling and do we need it?

Accepted Answer

OCSP stapling lets a browser verify your certificate has not been revoked without a separate round trip to the certificate authority, which speeds up the connection and is configured as standard practice on every certificate we install.

Question 12

Will we lose access to our own domain accounts?

Accepted Answer

No. You retain ownership and access to every domain account; we manage renewals and configuration, we do not lock you out of your own registrar accounts.

Question 13

How does geographic DNS configuration work?

Accepted Answer

Geographic DNS routes visitors to the closest or most appropriate server based on their location, available on Accelerate for businesses hosting infrastructure across multiple regions.

Question 14

What if we have dozens of domains across multiple brands?

Accepted Answer

Monthly portfolio reporting is built for exactly this, one report covering every domain and certificate across your full portfolio, not a separate check per brand.

Question 15

Do you support Extended Validation certificates?

Accepted Answer

Yes, EV and OV certificates are available when brand validation in the browser matters, alongside standard Let's Encrypt certificates for sites that do not need it.
